Look, feminism has been strangled by my liberal sisters. Without a few conservative feminists we will never advance an equality agenda. Every woman at the top of the ticket or the head of the boardroom raises all boats. When Maggie Thatcher was PM British women's wages outpaced ours by 3 to 1. I started to watch, but could not stomach his sarcasm and smarmy tone so I muted him to wait for Palin. Not so much at her trashing Obama and Biden,which was painful, but they dished out quite a bit as well. And her sarcastic and sneering tone was offensive, but I'm not sure she was more offensive than any of her colleagues. I was mostly horrified at the audience's reaction. I taped it with the intention of watching the next day, but from what I heard about the speeches, I decided to skip it. His speech was respectful, well delivered, and even his barbs at Obama were funny and not below the belt. (Wish I could remember an example, but can't at the moment.) Too bad McCain didn't pick him to shore up his evangelical base. Actually, maybe NOT too bad.
